Reconnect successfully undertook a 10K race “Run for your Life” at Hyde Park on 17^th  September 2006 to raise awareness about refugee issues and funding to facilitate the  employment  of unemployed/ underemployed refugees through training and work placement. Over 300 participants took part in the race.
